Well there you have it. Queen Esther for prez in 2012! On the upside it must be a great day to be an Alaskan.
tombrady617 - 7/3/09, 12:17 pm
Palin 4 Prez
PB - 7/3/09, 12:17 pm
i wonder what its like to be so full of shit.
Kyle - 7/3/09, 12:20 pm
It's much more honorable to throw in the towel early and admit defeat. wait no it's not, that's for suckers.
samantha - 7/3/09, 12:25 pm
Because for someone mocking obamas experience, the best way to say 'i'm ready to be president' is to quit before your first term is over
BarXtheRockinM - 7/3/09, 12:26 pm
Whoever it is who's got her convinced that she has a chance at being elected president really ought to go into motivational speaking as a career, for clearly they are able to convince anyone of anything.
jackets - 7/3/09, 12:35 pm
what a hilarious rambling press conference!
Jeff - 7/3/09, 12:41 pm
| I doubt Palin needs much convincing... Besides, there probably won't be a more open field for a long
time. Romney, gingrich, huckabee, palin... Now, it seems, is the time- and she still has years to
rehab her image. Liberals hate her, sure, but most people that are skeptical are that way primarily
because of her lack of FP expertise. If she can get her weight up there a little and hope the
economy continues to be the driving factor next go around she's got a slim chance. It's a longshot in the general election but I could see her running away with the primary. |
Jeff - 7/3/09, 12:42 pm
Wait why is she doing this on friday afternoon??? Very suspicious
johnvonb - 7/3/09, 12:43 pm
Yeah she's def. trying to play the news cycles. Will be watching with baited breath.
jeff - 7/3/09, 12:45 pm
This is awesome! What the hell is going on??
jackets - 7/3/09, 12:47 pm
four yes's and one HELL YEAH
Al - 7/3/09, 12:54 pm
MSNBC said that Andrea Mitchell was told by a source that Palin is quitting politics altogether. They also mentioned her $7 million book deal. Amazing they'd put out a book that you'll be able to get for $1.99 in a year or so.
jackets - 7/3/09, 12:56 pm
seriously, 7 million? what was so compelling about her experience running for VP that we don't already know ??
jackets - 7/3/09, 12:58 pm
would i be a conspiracy theorist to imply that goldman sachs paid off sarah palin to steal the headlines from matt taibbi's article?
sempreverde - 7/3/09, 12:58 pm
this is the stupidest woman in the world
Jeff - 7/3/09, 1:03 pm
Palin-Bachamnn 2012 Or barring that, their own show on fox between beck and o'reilly.
johnvonb - 7/3/09, 1:05 pm
They could call it Bachmann-Palin Overdrive!
jackets - 7/3/09, 1:07 pm
palin-papa bear would be a solid ticket also
Kyle - 7/3/09, 3:02 pm
haha @ johnvonb
anonuser - 7/3/09, 4:08 pm
Once Obama gets done the republicans will be able to put a chia pet in the white house 6 months and the dude hasn't done a fucking thing.. Sup Carter 2
tylerforpants - 7/3/09, 4:37 pm
quitting politics is just palin taking her "just like us" everyman angle and going balls out with it. this is the bold move that will secure her future presidency.
DeadMen - 7/3/09, 4:39 pm
I would vote for a chia pet over palin, fuck the chia pet will at least do nothing.
Sleepwalk - 7/3/09, 4:40 pm
which will happen first: her as president or her daughter getting knocked up again?
level60JIZZARD - 7/3/09, 4:54 pm
if she runs for pres i will have a cow moo
Sleepwalk - 7/3/09, 4:54 pm
I will shit an octopus.
tigerdriver - 7/3/09, 5:00 pm
| i tried watching cnn for coverage on this, but it was all debates about whether it was a good move
or not. even the fucking old republican cracker they had on was saying it was stupid, how is that even an issue? |
level60JIZZARD - 7/3/09, 5:09 pm
how is her running an issue? i don't think it is but the article yoni linked kept hinting at it also, and pardon me for holding even douchebags accountable, but wasnt she elected governor? fuck her for all the other reasons i hate her, but now, fuck her for quitting her job halfway through the term way to set an example uch
tigerdriver - 7/4/09, 6:11 am
found in the comments under the CNN.com story: Mike in VA July 3rd, 2009 4:54 pm ET Leave it to the Democrats to put a negitive spin on this
brit - 7/4/09, 6:14 am
anonuser - 07/03/09 - 8:08 pm (193.200.150.125) Once Obama gets done the republicans will be able to put a chia pet in the white house 6 months and the dude hasn't done a fucking thing.. Sup Carter 2 remember when the economy tanked and he had to treat that as #1 priority?
melshocker - 7/4/09, 6:52 am
That was seriously the craziest speech I've seen from someone who wasn't about to shoot herself in the face at the end of it, and what was up with all the panting?
TheLustyGhost - 7/4/09, 6:58 am
I think someone was scanning her
melshocker - 7/4/09, 7:01 am
Also the ratio of times she said "so I've given my reasons for this clearly" to the number of times she actually gave any clear reasons was pretty overwhelming.
