I know only a handful of people on the board watch this show, but it's a really fun summer show to get into for those of you who have never seen it. Also of note: "FOX has announced that there will be a sixth season of "Dance", and will premiere in the fall of 2009. Auditions will be held in May, June, and July. This marks the first time that two seasons of the show will be on in one year." Get ready for the Hot Tamale Train, people. It's going to be a long summer of your eardrums rupturing during critiques. |

| i am so excited for this!!! i do not usually watch reality competition shows, but my roommate got me to watch this with her a few seasons ago (when sabra won) and i was hooked. unlike dancing with the stars, all the competitors on this show are insanely talented, and the choreographers are amazing. if you know you openly or secretly love watching good dance performances (all genres) then you really, really should give this show a chance. also, cat deely is the best host...for real. her hair and outfits and heels each week...and the way she always hugs the sweaty contestants after they dance...this will also charm you. |

| Ellen just had the the top 8 from last year on! <3 Joshua. And seriously guys, CAT DEELEY. Former fashion model, she wears ten inch heels and her outfits are ridiculous. Her British accent is charming, and the way she genuinely cares about each contestant is just...sweet. |

| Kherington had a nice smile, and was very pretty. But the girl could not dance. She's improved a lot (she was actually quite good on tour) but still she sticks out like a sore thumb among the top ten from last season. I just wish she could have stopped being a beauty pageant contestant and danced. This is kind of why I secretly loved her krumping routine with Twitch...for once she wiped that smile off her face and was like GRRR. I voted Joshua the entire season. |

| i love this show so much. for the past 3 seasons the costumes have been fucking ridiculous. cat may
be charming but whoever dresses her should be fired. although i gotta say the dress she's wearing in
the pic above is not bad at all. maybe they got new costume people. i don't have tv so i wasn't able to see any of this season yet but i will be catching up soon. |

| Well, the second round is in Vegas. If you make it past the first round you get "a ticket to Vegas" where they slowly weed out people until they get their Top 20, who will perform on the show. |

| Yeah, the skanky Asian sucks. Her solo sucked, too. But Jay Leno (aka Paris) sucked worse as a package. She deserved to go. I'm glad Tony got the boot. I voted for Kapona and Ashley (the Crash Test Dummies dance, I was worried that "America" might find it a little too out there and that they would be at risk tonight, but yay, not the case). | LOVED Sabra. Natalie got the boot really early on in Vegas, it was so crazy. And it was pretty damn unanimous. Nigel was the one that really wanted her gone. | That mannequin hip hop routine was crazy. Kind of similar to the crash test dummies routine of last
week (which I voted for). I wish Tabitha and Napoleopn had been around that season, they could have
done some great work with that group. Mia shouldn't judge anymore, she should just choreograph. Sonya has definitely replaced her as the wacky always high head in the clouds "your routine just made me orgasm, no seriously, it did....also I love birds" judge. |

| Yeah, she's pretty limited in her choreographing abilities. Bird-like movements, jumping and rolling around on the floor. Also, burlesque clothing. If I had tried out for the show and she was the guest judge, I totally would have made it straight through to Vegas. |

| Well, she doesn't really have very big boobs, but that dress wasn't doing much. She looked exactly
like Serena from Gossip Girl (who has worn that same dress in white and styled her hair in the same
way on the show) tonight, I thought. What bothered me though was that her hair braid was not the
same shade as her actual hair, it was like 3 shades lighter. My vote went to 1-888-TEMPO-06. As much as I don't really like Randy and whatshisface that much, I thought their Mia Michael's piece was quirky and well-played. Also, I thought they learned last season that having Toni Basil on the show was a flop. When you've got a 60-something year old white woman who has had about ten facelifts talking about the definition of "street" in a wacky beret while she scowls at the producer of the show and folds her hand in a zen-like way after Mary Murphy has given her screaming Hot Tamale Train critique...it just doesn't work. I'm excited for The Veronicas tomorrow night. |

| She'll be knocked up by the end of the season. I feel generally let down by this group of dancers. Each season I have really loved pretty much all of the contestants (personality and performance wise) and by show 2 I have favorite performances. This season is just...meh. I don't like any of them, and aside from Mia's piece last night, I can't think of a single number that has stood out for me, or that they have danced well. They all kind of suck. |

| GOOD GOD, Nigel. Those are some British teeth you have. Also, is he being styled by someone straight
out of the 80s this season? His leather coat last week was ridiculous. I'm glad he got a hair cut,
at least. I agree that it is hard to tell with Mary, given that she sits at a table, boobs pushed to the heavens, and is covered in Flintstones jewelry. She has definitely (admittedly) had botox, as she now finally has an upper lip. I was shocked to see that she had Hot Mama legs last season when she got up and did her cha cha (you know she "likes it rough...") and perhaps she will rise again this season to perform something of the like. Those pictures of Mia are terrifying. I really want to go to Cat's 4th of July BBQ. Sigh. |

It's like one night she can be all warm and cool, and the next she can be harsh and abrasive and a total bitch with not a hint of warmth. | i voted for the alien one because i felt so bad for them. i think america won't get it and i don't
want them to be in the bottom 3 for the third week in a row because of tin foil. plus i want them
to keep that choreographer. i think he's interesting. i loved sonya's and the chain hip hop one...i cannot believe they pulled that off...and even the ballroomy ones (cha cha and quickstep) were good last night...and though my irritation with vittolio was there, it lessened some when he proclaimed he made it "the kiss of joy". also, i liked cat's outfit last night! finally! |

| Oh ack, I hated the alien one, lol. Neither of them could act (those FACIAL expressions) and I
disagreed that they committed to it 100%. Also, I really like that Santigold song, and now every
time I hear it I am going to think of that routine. Every time there is a weird piece, it's
"jazz." I'm very confused about the dance genre that is jazz. Don't worry about Brian
Friedman going anywhere, he's been around for every season. He's a gem. I thought Sonya's was pretty cool. Very Sonya, it looked pretty much like everything else she's ever done- just darker. I liked "Nappy Tabs" routine, but (and I can't believe I am going to say this) I had to agree with Mia, the chain was very distracting (and not because I had taken 20 bong hits before hitting the judging panel). I was so distracted by its movement and by the thought of them tripping over it, that I wasn't paying attention to their actual dancing. It took away from the routine more than it contributed to it. It was a good concept, but I think in the end it didn't quite work out. Still, they pulled it off, which was impressive. So it seems that Cat wears dresses on Wednesdays, and some form of a pant on Thursdays...so far...she was like 80s prom last night. But she pulled it off. |

| what other dances has he done? this is my 3rd season watching and for some reason i am drawing a
total blank. i agree the dance was poor, but my pity overtook me. and yes about the chain (NAPPY TABS - they will say it forever now). perhaps they could have used some sort of scarf so it looked more fluid. two more things: janette's hair in the interviews is the ugliest thing ever. :( evan and randi are so lackluster. i think she has the exact same build at britney spears, so i always look for a frappuccino cup in her hand. |

meant fat. "You need to be careful not to dance too fat. Because you are." Brian Friedman is awesome. He was Britney Spears' choreographer for a while. He did her "Toxic" and "Overprotected" videos. He also choreographed on of her early tours. How can you forget, he did "HOT LIKE WOW" last week. Most of his choreography was done the second season of the show, so actually, I guess you probably wouldn't remember him. He averaged 2 routines a week, it was great! |

I knew that Kayla would make it to the finals, but was surprised that Jeanine made it over Old Ballerina (although, I am not a fan of O.B., so I was happy about this). Brandon. Again, knew he'd make it. But EVAN OVER ADE? Seriously?! Ade was my favorite. This is so wrong. It was great to see Will, Twitch, Katee and Joshua back again. I guess Joshua gave his hair to Will. Yummers. Cat looked like an 80s disco Christmas tree. Shoulder pads. Really, Cat? And wonky eye off the hook. Horrible. Possibly the worst outfit of the season. No, definitely the worst. |

| i didnt watch the results show yet but i had to click on this anyway and find out. evan is like sanjaya. i feel bad for him because how can he be enjoying these victories when he knows deep down he doesn't deserve to be there as much as the people being sent home? at the least he knows the judges are done with him. but, as nigel would say, the title is "ameriaca's favorite dancer" not "america's best dancer". i am glad kayla and brandon are in the finale. they are obviously the 2 best at this point. brandon's solo this week was mind-boggling. i have never been a woman that ogles a man's body, but i think i ogled. |

I prefer Janette's disco abilities over Kayla's. Girl could move (still can't believe she got
booted). Kayla is a beast, I mean, she must be hard to lift. And her lifted splits are kind of weak.
Do you remember when they made that montage of Lil C's critiques? The man makes no sense whatsoever. His analogies make no sense. His "big words" make no sense. It's a mess. However, I love it. It would be great to have him and Mia on panel at the same time. |

| Why did Cat wear a bath towel? Honestly, it was just a silkier version of what I wear when I get out
of the shower. Everyone was shocked when Jeanette got the boot. I seriously think it's because of Evan's time zone advantage that he made it as far as he did. Seriously, who was voting for him? He has all of the mormons in Utah dialing, and they can vote when the show airs for each zone (call someone on the east coast, get the number, start voting). I mean, I guess people on the east coast could do that too (if they wanted to stay up until the wee hours of the morning) but it just seems really unfair. I look forward to seeing Jeanette on tour.
