dsensationale - 4/28/08, 10:29 am
you are an amzing cook, an amzing musician and you have a ton of friends who like you.
steve - 4/28/08, 10:29 am
i don't think my turntable is capable of playing backwards.

but i'll give it a shot!
Mothra - 4/28/08, 10:29 am
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets this way.

i would suggest: drinking beer/rootbeer in the shower.
steve - 4/28/08, 10:30 am
thanks dan, i wasn't really saying that i'm depressed about myself or that i suck.
i'm just a little down and could use some cheering up.
RichHorror - 4/28/08, 10:30 am

steve - 4/28/08, 10:32 am
the scrawny toy dogs are fiberous and best served in the manner of a game bird!
streganona - 4/28/08, 10:32 am
hey! i miss you. let's hang out soon and watch weird movies or something. chin up.
ryantheterrible - 4/28/08, 10:32 am

elizabeth - 4/28/08, 10:32 am

DOGZILLA
ryantheterrible - 4/28/08, 10:34 am
brisco would kill me if i did that to him.
elizabeth - 4/28/08, 10:35 am
you put a hat on him in another thread.
steve - 4/28/08, 10:35 am
ryan, buy that for Brisco.

THAT WILL CHEER ME UP.
ryantheterrible - 4/28/08, 10:36 am
you just want to see him looking bummed out while punching me in the face with his paw over and over and over again.
elizabeth - 4/28/08, 10:37 am
thats kind of cute.
steve - 4/28/08, 10:38 am
yeah. but you only have to stop giving him belly rubs for this to happen.

this way HE'LL BE DOING IT AS DOGZILLA
georgia - 4/28/08, 10:39 am
steve, you are awesome. if you guys bring back taco tuesday i will tell you in person.

i think the weather is bringing people down - i was very bummed yesterday.
mikechumpchange - 4/28/08, 10:39 am
i like you.
mattm - 4/28/08, 10:40 am
steve, it's officially grilling season! that alone should cheer you up.

if that didn't work, try cleaning your room while listening to the oblivians! it's working for me right now!
streganona - 4/28/08, 10:40 am
guacamole is my favorite thing in life, even slightly more than tim but don't tell him. i hear there is another movie that is by the tekkonkinkreet people and i am dying to see it, though i don't know what it is.
tim - 4/28/08, 10:40 am
said in my best perlot voice, "stop being such a whiny bitch and hang out"
ryantheterrible - 4/28/08, 10:41 am
Steve, if you need the oblivians, i have an LP in my room on my record shelf.
thedeathofsid - 4/28/08, 10:41 am
You have fantastic hair and your band is very good.
steve - 4/28/08, 10:42 am
matt, yes. i'm scheming to make my own home-smoker this summer!

and my room is clean, perhaps i'll just clean the kitchen and living room.
but that somehow feels like work and less satisfying as cleaning one's own room.
steve - 4/28/08, 10:45 am
tim, sometimes that helps, sometimes it hurts.
i couldn't really tell you which it is right now.

also thanks to that other thread, i now fear being the last one to post.
ESPECIALLY THIS THREAD. YEEESH!
ginn - 4/28/08, 10:46 am
instead of trying to cheer myself up, i have been reading books that make my problems seem infinitesimal. it definitely makes me even sadder, but it generalizes my sadness to be more for life itself than about my life in particular. if you want to travel down the same dismal path, check out an amazing book called "half of a yellow sun," by chimamanda ngozi adichie.
OR listen to some happy music and dance around your house and sing into your toothbrush until you feel better.
danshea - 4/28/08, 10:46 am

Another day has gone
I'm still all alone
How could this be
You're not here with me
You never said goodbye
Someone tell me why
Did you have to go
And leave my world so cold

Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

You are not alone
I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
You are not alone

All alone
Why, oh

Just the other night
I thought I heard you cry
Asking me to come
And hold you in my arms
I can hear your prayers
Your burdens I will bear
But first I need your hand
So forever can begin

Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Then something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
For you are not alone
I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
And you are not alone

Whisper three words and I'll come runnin'
And girl you know that I'll be there
I'll be there

You are not alone
I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
You are not alone
I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart

You are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart

For you are not alone

steve - 4/28/08, 10:49 am
i dunno. weather dictates that i should listen to sad music. and in doing so, that would make me feel happier?
y'know summer= pop punk and two tone ska
rainy weather= sad bastard music and shoegaze indie rock
tim - 4/28/08, 10:50 am

steve - 4/28/08, 10:51 am

but i'll be better by then.
chrisd - 4/28/08, 10:57 am

steve - 4/28/08, 10:58 am
