04.15.08 THE LAST SHOWS... hello friends, all the kids at camp 'bald have been practicing up a storm for the grand finale this weekend. i think there is just short of fifty different tunes that we will be playing during the last 3 shows. you will laugh, you will cry, you will dance! and we will too! ahhh, the almost fifteen year stint is coming to an end this weekend. we will miss all of you. i haven't made a post in quite some time, but i, like the rest of the 'bald have been busy with new life and new creations. somehow it didn't seem right to post until now. now we are all 'bald all the time and its our last chance to be so. i have been staying at luke and karen's place in brighton taking in what seems to be the sights and sounds of a past life. i have been riding the t and going to mr. music daily. it is the birthing and stomping ground of many years of our existence. i have had so many good times there and continue to do so. and now i am in andover, with a full stomach, after mom's homemade dinner. i took the commuter rail out of north station, which was cluttered with canadians in canadiens shirts. i got off at ballardvale and walked the tracks to my 'rents house. today has been a good day. and its not even over yet. so this bulletin is to say thank you to anyone who has come to see us play or helped us over the years. it has been a pleasurable experience to say the least. we have had ups and downs, but i wouldn't change a thing. life is good. piebald is great. thanks for everything. see you this weekend. all hugs, only hugs. we love you! travis posted by travis

detuned - 4/21/08, 6:35 am
Sparky - 04/21/08 at 09:45 am (98.217.180.78) was annoying ryan murphy playing the cowbell? the first time was barely funny. you mean ryan mcgaffigan right? he came out during dance party and hit the cowbell a couple of times, and after the song they told him to get back out there and of course they played the stalker. he brought out a bottle of champagne shortly after, luke sprayed him with it, ryan sprayed the crowd, and then some dude on the edge of the crowd sprayed the entire stage and band. if anyone was curious at night ones set list, i just came across it. id say night two was clearly superior. 1. Sex Sells and (Unfortunately) I'm Buying 2. Friend of Mine 3. Our Very Own Employment Office 4. We Believe In Karma 5. We Cannot Read Poetry 6. If Marcus Garvy Dies, Then Marcus Garvy Lives 7. Look, I Just Don't Like You 8. David Lee Rock 9. Grace Kelly With Wings 10. In Like a Lamb, Out Like A Lion 11. Karate Chops for Everyone But Us 12. Haven't Tried It 13. Strangers 14. Part of Your Body is Made of Rock 15. Giddy as a Schoolgirl 16. Fear and Loathing on Cape Cod 17. It's Going to Get Worse Before It Gets Better 18. Rock Revolution 19. Nature Wins 20. American Hearts 21. Holden Caulfield 22. Fat and Skinny Asses ENCORE 23. ??? (not on the setlist) 24. Long Nights 25. The Song that Launched 1000 Ships 26. The Stalker
